Summer 2015: HENLEY

Our lovely Henley (by Cabardino out of Haley) has been kicking butt in the hunter ring with his owner Victoria this summer. He has had great success in the 3'3" Junior/ Amateur divisions and has proven his versatility and scope in the jumper rings as well. 

Nothing makes us happier than to see our homebreds out there showing against the best! 

Foal Announcement: A Filly for KATAVI!

This year Katavi blessed us with yet another beautiful filly by Cassini II. Charlotte has incredibly long legs and looks like she is going to go grey like her father. Thankfully Katavi took to her mama duties this time around and is in love with her little girl.

In Memorium: HALEY

It is with a heavy heart that I write this memorial post for Haley, my first horse, greatest love and the best horse that I have ever ridden.

Foal Announcement: A filly for KATAVI!

We have been dying to breed one of our mares to Cassini II for years now, and this dream became reality this year when Katavi gave us a gorgeous filly on April 1st. She unfortunately didn't take to her duties as a mama however, and we had to enlist the use of a nurse mare.

The incredible people at Manning Equine found us Taffy, who took the filly on as her own right away. 

Willow and Taffy are now home at Braeburn and are doing incredibly well!

RAWF 2013: AURELIUS

Our lovely homebred Aurelius (Maurice X La Sophie) was the lone representation for Braeburn at the Royal Winter Fair this year. He was competing in the Amateur Owner division with his new owner and was incredible for his first time showing indoors. He was 3rd in a very competitive under saddle class, and had some great trips over fences. His dam was our wonderful foundation mare La Sophie (Sophie) who sadly recently passed.

In Memorium: LA SOPHIE

A few weeks ago we lost our incredible foundation mare La Sophie (Registered name Leda, barn name Sophie).
